We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join Estuary’s busy Finance department, providing essential support to our busy Payments team within the Finance department at Estuary. 

The Finance Officer will play a key role in supporting the Finance Processing and Compliance Manager and other Finance Officer – Payments with the maintenance of the purchase ledger, including:

  • Processing invoices onto the invoice register
  • Processing approved invoices on the purchase ledger
  • Matching invoices to approved works orders
  • Liaising with suppliers

The ideal candidate will be highly numerate with experience of purchase ledger work, and will possess excellent attention to detail, communication and team working skills.  Previous use of QLx Accounting Software and a qualification in book-keeping, accounting or business studies is desirable for this post. Estuary would be happy to support a candidate working towards or intending to study AAT or a similar qualification.

You’ll also be used to preparing accurate, timely and relevant financial information with an organised approach to your work and the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
